SSlaves are not allowed into Heaven” by Serhii Adamenko is a poignant tribute to the brave souls who fought against Russian occupation in Ukraine. With firsthand experience, Adamenko’s narrative is deeply personal, offering a glimpse into the diverse backgrounds of those who answered the call to defend their homeland. Though some heroes are no longer with us, their legacy endures through Adamenko’s heartfelt storytelling.

about the author

Serhii Adamenko, an Irish-Ukrainian author, was born in 1965 in Krasnyi Luch, located in the Luhansk region of Ukraine. He graduated from the Commercial Technical College and served in the Soviet Army for two years. During 1990–1991, Serhii played an active role in Ukraine’s fight for independence and was instrumental in founding the first Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Donbas region of Eastern Ukraine.
